Frequently Asked Question & Tips

Does the Hydrogen Heaven unit void my vehicle warranty?
You want to upgrade your vehicle with after-market equipment, but you're worried about putting the vehicle's warranty at risk.  And how many times have you heard someone at a dealership say that installing after-market equipment automatically voids the warranty?  This a common misconception.  Most vehicle owner's are not aware that federal law protects them by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty - Federal Trade Commission Improvement Act of 1975.  Under this law, after-market equipment which improves performance of a vehicle does NOT void the manufacturers original warranty, unless, the warranty clearly conspicuously states that after market equipment voids the warranty.  Most states have warranty statutes as well which provides further protections for vehicle owners.

In other words, a dealer can't wiggle out of his legal warranty obligation merely because you install after-market equipment.  To find out if any after-market equipment automatically voids your vehicle's warranty, check the owner's manual.  It is likely the language you are looking for appears under a heading such as "What is not covered".  Although this language seems negative, just remember that your vehicle manufacturer is simply saying that they don't cover the after-market products themselves.  They are not saying that the after-market products would void the vehicle warranty.  If you need to, point out to the dealer the provisions of the Magnuson-Moss Act which requires the dealership to point out that the after-market equipment caused the problem.  If they can't provide a sufficient  explanation, it is your legal right to demand that they comply with the warranty.

How is it possible that my present engine will power the Hydrogen Heaven unit and get improved fuel mileage?
Your internal combustion engine's efficiency will be dramatically improved with the introduction of the hydrogen fuel.  The engine alternator keeps turning whether or not the engine or battery uses all of the electricity it produces.  The energy that is normally wasted by this process is now captured to power the hydrogen unit.  This, in turn, produces hydrogen and oxygen gases which is used to improve combustion.  The way modern engines work, it is very inexpensive to power the hydrogen units.

Can a Hydrogen Heaven unit damage my vehicle(s)?
The proof is in the technology.  As long as no harsh chemicals are added to the hydrogen unit, the only end result from the process of internal combustion is water.  The brown gas is then expelled through the engines exhaust as harmless steam.  Using distilled water is recommended and we error on the side of caution of using a different catalyst.

Why is a Hydrogen Heaven unit a good investment?
This is a great investment because our hydrogen units will pay for themselves by saving you money on fuel.  With a savings ranging from 20% to 75% on fuel consumption.  For example, you could potentially save $.60 to $2.25 per gallon based on a cost of $3.00 per gallon.  Depending on how much you drive, you could see a full return on your investment within 6 months to a year.

Why buy the Hydrogen Heaven unit?
No other unit looks, or works like ours and we use only the highest quality materials.  We have a unique see through container and the Hydrogen Heaven unit contains all stainless steel plates.  Our units have an output of 1.83 Liters per minute of hydrogen at 12v and 7 amps.  We highly recommend using distilled water with our units as regular tap water can diminish performance.

Why is distilled water recommended?
Tests have shown that distilled water is the only type of water that should be used in the Hydrogen Heaven units.  If you use regular tap water (this includes water softened using any water softeners), you will end up having to clean the system as the iron in the water will start to place a film on the stainless steel plates and will dramitically reduce brown gas production.  It is recommended to clean the system as soon as possible and replace the regular tap water with distilled water.

Is Hydrogen a safe fuel for my car?
It is absolutely safe and is not as damaging as diesel or gasoline.  In our Hydrogen Heaven units fuel is stored as water and it is produced continually as it is drawn in and burned by the engine.  Using Hydrogen Heaven's unique designed safety system, eliminates the need for a high-pressure hydrogen storage tank that could rupture or explode in a collision.

It seems that the Hydrogen Heaven unit takes a long time to use up a liter of water?
Water is actually an extremely concentrated form of hydrogen and oxygen gases.  A liter of water at sea level will produce an enormous amount of both gases when the two are seperated by electrolysis.  Dont, worry, with today's technology, a small amount of water can produce lots of gas.  Check the water level whenever you check your oil as we recommend that the water level is over and covers the stainless steel plates.

Does a Hydrogen Heaven unit need to be protected from freezing during the winter?
Absolutely as a Hydrogen Heaven unit should have a minimum of a 20% denatured alcohol solution in it in order to keep it healthy during freezing weather.

How many amps should the hydrogen heaven unit draw?  How do I know if my unit has blown as fuse?
Your unit should draw under 20 amps as that is the design parameter and the operating amp level we recommend.  If your unit is continuing to blow fuses, it may mean you have to strong of an electrolyte mixture.  If this is the case, you should drain 8 ounces and and refill with distilled water.  Sometimes a bit of experimentation is required before you find the desired amperage draw that will keep your unit operating under 15 - 20 amps.

My car does'nt have any space under the hood, so how can I install a Hydrogen Heaven unit in my car?
There is always some place a unit can be installed.  For instance, the Ford Focus has no extra room under the hood and a unit can be (and has been) installed outside of and below the engine compartment in front of the right wheel well as sometimes it takes a bit of creativity to find a location.

If I install a Hydrogen Heaven unit will it void the warranty on my car?
No, as the addition of a Hydrogen Heaven unit should be treated like any other after-market add-on that reduces harmful emissions.  Hydrogen Heaven cannot speak for all manufacturers and if you think that this might be an issue, we recommend you check with the company that provides your car warranty.

Can fleet owners purchase Hydrogen Heaven units at a discounted price?
Yes, but depending on the number of units purchased as volume purchases reduce the cost per unit.  Fleet owners are encouraged to contact us, or to see our Distributor information.
